Lightkeeper’s

Origin Story

I’m Grace — a shore local who’s always felt a pull to protect this little stretch of sand and sea we call home. For generations, lightkeepers stood watch through every kind of weather, their steady glow guiding others safely back to shore. That same spirit lives on in Lightkeeper Home Watch — keeping a loving eye on the treasures of our island while their owners are away.

After years in real estate and community work here at the shore, I’ve seen how quickly small things can become big problems — a trickle that turns into a leak, or a storm that blows in more than we bargained for. I’ve also stood alongside neighbors after disasters, helping them recover piece by piece. Those experiences made one thing clear: every home here deserves someone who cares enough to keep watch.

Lightkeeper was born from that calling — to look after the homes that make this island what it is. I don’t just check on properties; I care for them as if they were my own, making sure they stay safe, sound, and ready to welcome you back to the place you love.

Because being a lightkeeper isn’t just about keeping watch — it’s about stewardship, love for the coast, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone’s caring for your home with heart.
